This page is a credit to those who do fine
finishes more so than what is used. We have also included a few tips for that
last wipe down before the boat show. This month's features include: - You can see your reflection .... - So what did I use to wipe down the boat before the show? |

You can see your reflection .... thanks to Fish Brothers Marine Services located in Queensbury, New York. The finish is Epifanes Clear Varnish. Epifanes and I do not get along ('cause I have no patience) so I went to the Fish Brothers and had them apply their magic touch to the EWE BOAT. They also did the restoration and refinishing of the original mahogany boarding ladder. The Fish Brothers do total boat restorations, marine engine overhauls and build beautifulNEW mahogany reproduction speedboats. Check out their page at http:/www.adirondack.net/products/mahogany/
So what did I use to wipe down the boat before the show? - Many have asked the question, now I will tell .... S.N.A.P. Home and Shop Cloth. This is one of those miracle items impregnated with a proprietary ingredient that works wonders. You can use it to polish metals, automobiles and furniture. On the boat I use one to polish chrome and another to wipe down the boat before the show. On the finish it removes alcohol, water, ink and heat stains. The S.N.A.P Home and Shop Cloth is distributed by Market America. Steve's Last Chance Marina can get you one if you don't have a local Market America Rep.
